Hello Families,
P.I.G. Month (Poetry Is Great) is here! During April, PK–6th grade students are invited to participate in a fun, school-wide poetry challenge.
Students will receive a poetry-themed bingo card and can complete squares by reading, writing, finding, and memorizing poems. Each completed bingo earns an entry into a prize drawing!
Students will work on some activities during library time, but they are encouraged to complete many of the squares at home as well. When they finish a square, they can bring their bingo card and work to the library to be checked and stamped.
We encourage all students to participate, be creative, and have fun exploring poetry this month. Your support at home—whether it’s listening to a memorized poem or helping them find one to read—can make a big difference!
