Cookies and Canvas! Our AMES PTO is hosting two Cookies and Canvas events on October 2nd and 3rd at 5:30PM. It's $15.00. If you would you like attend, please email ccummins@alex.k12.in.us with your name and your child's name. We can't wait to paint with you!

ATTENDANCE TIP TUESDAY: Preparing for school the night 🌙 before means mornings are not as rushed! Plan ahead for 🥪 meals, pick out tomorrow’s 👕 clothes, and pack the backpack 🎒 before bed. All these steps help ensure your student is ready to face the school day.
🏫 Regular attendance is essential for students to gain the academic and social skills they need to thrive. That's why Alexandria Community Schools has been placing a renewed emphasis on the importance of attendance through #Class First. First Class.
For the next several weeks, we will bring you attendance tips on Tuesdays in which school is in session. We look forward to sharing more helpful tips with our families!

Today is Chocolate Milk Day!


German-American Partnership Program (GAPP) has been a cultural opportunity for many Alexandria students. It’s been a wonderful experience for our Tigers! Our AMES Students have been learning about German, the German culture, and vocabulary. Thank you to Mrs. Shannon Howell for organizing these amazing learning experiences for our students.

PTO Candy Bar Sales has been extended until Monday, September 30th! There is still a Golden Ticket in one of the boxes. 🍫 You could be the winner! All money needs to be turned by Wednesday, October 2nd.

Alexandria Monroe Elementary School pictures will be delivered to school this week. We will send home pictures as soon as we receive them.

Next week is College Go Week! It's never too early to learn about different careers and interests! Here are our College Go Dress Up Days for the week of September 23rd.

What a great night! We had beavers, stories, bookmarks, Bingo, action plans, construction, drums, headbands, and books! Thank you to our families and AMES Staff for making our Title I Annual Meeting and Literacy Night such a special event for our Tigers!
