Alexandria Community Schools would like to invite all Veterans to our Veterans Day program on Friday, November 10th. Veterans will be greeted in the AMHS cafeteria beginning at 8:15am. The program will be held in the AMHS main gym at 9 am. We look forward to honoring our Veterans and hope you will join us for this special program.

After consultation with the Alexandria Police Department, the soft lockdown has been lifted for today, Tuesday, Oct. 24. #AlexTigers
For today, Tuesday, Oct. 24, all schools are operating on a soft lockdown as police search for a suspect that fled very early this morning. All students will remain indoors today. This is strictly a precautionary measure.

Family Fire Escape Plan for Kindergartner through 3rd Grade Students! The firefighters have given us a challenge! We are to create our own family fire escape plan. The best family fire escape plans from each grade level, K-3, will be selected and get to ride to school on a fire truck on Friday, October 20. Plans are due on Wednesday.
