Children who scored below proficiency in the ILEARN Math or Language Arts test have the opportunity to apply for a state funded tutoring program that allows them 13 FREE tutoring sessions. These tutoring sessions will help fill in the gaps of their learning, with anticipation they will produce better results next time they take the test. This program is NOT for homework help. With the help of the school, if need be, the Parents or Guardians can apply for these services online HERE! Sessions will become available to schedule starting November 27th, 2023. We have licensed teachers ready to assist children with their learning and development in Math and Language Arts. The tutoring sessions will be an hour long and will be held afterschool between 3:00PM and 5:00PM Monday - Thursday for grades 3rd - 6th! This will be run by the Alexandria YMCA with the help and partnership of the Alexandra Elementary School.

Parents and Guardians are more than welcome to contact me at equear@ymcamadco.org with any questions, comments or concerns. Again, once we get kids registered we will begin scheduling sessions!
