We are so grateful for our wonderful families! A huge thank you to all our families who joined us for our 4th Grade VIP day! Our students had an amazing time creating mazes, building basketball hoops, playing games, and enjoying delicious cookies with their VIP. 😀 A special shout out to our incredible AMES PTO and Prairie Farms for providing the delicious treats that made our day even sweeter!









We would like to give a special thank you to all of our VIPs who attended our PreK and Kindergarten event yesterday! 😀 It was wonderful to see you and our Tigers having so much fun together; you make a difference! We also appreciate the preparation and support of our Title I Team, PreK Team, and Kindergarten Team.

Lights, camera, ACTION! We are impressed by our AMES Theatre Club's dedication and enthusiasm. We look forward to watching School House Rocks at Alexandria High School on Friday, March 7th, and Saturday, March 8th at 7:00PM!






Today we have some of our Alexandria Tigers and Mrs. L, our amazing music teacher, participating in Circle the State with Song at Anderson University. This choir had over 200 participants from all around the area. Over the past several months they learned the six pieces of music, and today they have been putting it all together with the whole group with the help of our excellent clinician, Mr. Andrew Heimlich! We are so proud of our Tiger musicians!

Congratulations to our Tiger Readers for all their hard work during the Tiger Reader Program! We are so proud of our readers! A special thank you to Mrs. Oldham, Mrs. Bivens, Mrs. Overman, Mrs. Howell, Miss Schweikert, and our high school student volunteers for helping to make our Tiger Reader Skating Parties a success today. Our Tigers had a fantastic time! We also appreciate Anderson Roll Arena for hosting us.











The Tiger Food Pantry is today starting at 4:00PM at Alexandria Monroe Elementary. Please do not line up until after 3:30 for the safety of our students loading the school buses. We look forward to seeing you at 4 PM. The Tiger Food Pantry will remain open until food items have been distributed.
